Eliza Sam nervous about filming comeback drama

10 Mar – TVB actress Eliza Sam says that she is nervous about her comeback drama, "Baby On Top", as it has been a while since she filmed a Cantonese series.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who was spotted in TVB City on the first day of filming, shared that it has been a while since she spoke in Cantonese as she is the only person at home who speaks the language.

"My Cantonese seemed to have regressed, so when I am at home trying to memorise the script, I would speak louder to practice my enunciation. At the same time, I am hoping for my son to absorb the language as well, so that he can learn more languages," she said.

As for her husband Joshua, Eliza stated that his Chinese proficiency is even worse than her.

"The script has now turned into a textbook and I, the Chinese teacher," she added in jest.

Asked if she would be missing baby Jacob now that she has started working again, Eliza said that it cannot be avoided.

"But before filming the series, I thought about it for a long time. We even had a family meeting. My family agreed to help take care of him before I decide to take the project," she added.
