Elisse Joson does not miss working in love team
7 Jan – It's been two years since she and her onscreen partner McCoy de Leon parted ways, but Elisse Joson stated that she did not miss working in a love team at all.
As reported on Push, the actress, who spoke to the media to promote the iWanTFC's anthology "Horrorscope", shared that she has always wanted to expand the scope of her projects even while she was in a love team.
"So maybe the one positive thing when I am no longer in a love team is that I got the chance to have different roles and learn more, because I do feel like I am learning. Luckily, there are people who believe in me and gambled on giving me different roles. So I am blessed when it comes to that," she said.
Asked if she will ever return to her love team, Joson said that she is no longer in the same mindset, but would not say no to future collaborations with de Leon - whom she also dated in the past.
"I am still enjoying [not playing typecast characters], getting different roles, because that's where I learn. Like I said, I also prefer to be quiet when it comes to my personal relationships. Right now, work and personal [life] are like two separate things," she added.
