Elena Kong is ready for new romance
18 Oct – Hong Kong actress Elena Kong is saying yes to new romance now that her breakup/divorce with Ng Kwan Cheung is public news.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who attended the wedding banquet of her former fellow ATV colleague Ruco Chan at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, was all smiles when asked about her own love life.
"I am now ready to start again with a new relationship," she said.
When asked if she attended the banquet in hopes of finding herself a suitor, she responded, "I'll take your word for it."
As to whether she is still in contact with Ng, Elena said that she just received a message from Ng asking her if she has been interviewed about their past relationship.
Elena's breakup with Ng made the headlines last week, when she confirmed that the two of them have parted ways two years ago. However, the media later found out that the two have been married since 2006, which both Elena and Ng claimed to have no knowledge of, despite their marriage certificate being leaked to the public.
On the other hand, when asked about Ruco's bride Phoebe Sin, Elena sang praises for the TVB newcomer, saying that Phoebe will be a good wife for the actor, as she admires him so much.
