People across the globe have been turning to exercise during the coronavirus outbreak to help them stay healthy - but physically and mentally.

Outdoor exercise once a day - both alone or with other members of the same household - is permitted under the government’s current lockdown guidelines.

A daily walk is a top choice for many and joggers have been keeping up their fitness levels with daily runs. Cycling is also proving popular, both using manual and electric bicycles.

E-bikes are ideal for all skill levels and are available in styles suitable for all riding preferences. There are even foldable designs for commuters available.

They either boost an electric motor or are battery-powered.

They still require pedalling but have a throttle to give an extra boost, which comes in handy when journeying uphill or across uneven terrain. They also allow you to go faster than on a manual bike: some e-bicycles can give you a surge of speed of up to 15.5 mph.
