"Eerie" to compete in Udine festival

17 Apr – After its success at the Philippine's box office, it was revealed that Bea Alonzo's first horror, "Eerie" will be travelling to an international film fest soon.

As reported on ABS-CBN, director Mikael Red recently confirmed that the film, which co-stars Charo Santos-Concio, will be competing and having its European premiere at the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy.

Red will also be participating in the 3rd edition of Focus Asia 2019.

Aside from "Eerie", other Filipino movies that will be joining the competition are Dan Villegas' supernatural romance "Heaven's Waiting", Joyce Bernal's time travel comedy "Miss Granny", and Chito Roño latest dramedy "Signal Rock".

The Udine Far East Film Festival will be held from 26 April to 4 May.
