Singapore — You may not have heard of OYSHO, unless you’ve stumbled upon the label in Spain (like this editor did). Spanish clothing retailer OYSHO was created in 2001, under the Inditex Group, which also counts Zara and Massimo Dutti under its fashion umbrella.

The label first launched with sleepwear and lingerie but soon expanded into OYSHO_Sports in 2011 to take on giants like Swedish retailer H&M and sports conglomerate Nike. OYSHO counts 50% of its gymwear sales attributed to this new sports category, according to TheMDS.com. The label now stocks accessories, footwear and beachwear collections.

In Asia, OYSHO marks its first brand presence here in Jewel Changi Airport, with the launch of its newest concept store and Singapore flagship spanning 220 sqm or 2,400 sqft. The store combines the use of wood and metal, with lots of white walls and light, highlighting the contrast of industrial style with retail space.

The OYSHO_Sport line is also fully available here; with its innovative garment infused with aloe vera microcapsules, compression fabrics for muscle recovery, or Sensil ® Innergy Nylon 6.6 fabric for better physical performance.
