Edison Chen calls rapper Sun Xiaochuan "fat and ugly"
18 Feb – After receiving praise for defending Nana Ouyang from fat-shamers, Edison Chen was criticised yet again for doing the same towards Sino-Japanese rapper Sun Xiaochuan (also known as Sun Dog).
As reported on Liberty Times, the issue sparked recently, after an Instagram account using the handle "sunxiaochuan" gave Edison's online post a thumbs down and wrote, "Edison Chen's true character", which the actor seemed to have taken as an insult.
In response, Edison blasted in all-caps, "[You are] a fat ugly [m*****f****r] and [you] talking about other people but I forgive you [because] I know [you] are broken inside."
He continued on Weibo, writing, "You've been talking about who is better than us, more handsome than us, it's easy to say it, but not easy to do. You can tell me all about my LEVEL [...] Be careful. IMA COME FOR YA HEAD."
However, after much digging, netizens found out that the aforementioned Instagram account used to comment on Edison's post was actually fake and does not belong to the rapper.
Sun also posted online to clarify the situation, saying, "Sorry, Edison. The account was not mine. It was someone else's fake account."
In response to Edison's insults against him, Sun wrote, "I will try to change myself. I will try not to be a fat ugly m*****f****r."
