Eddie Peng prepares body and mind for "Emergency Rescue"

23 Oct – Although Eddie Peng is the epitome of fitness, the Taiwanese actor recently revealed that he will be undergoing more training for his role in the upcoming Dante Lam movie, "Emergency Rescue" (working title).

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media about the upcoming project, shared that he is taking courses in diving and rescue before filming, as well as undergoing more fitness routines.

When mentioned that he already proved that he has the physique needed when he made the Jiang Wen movie, "Hidden Man", Eddie stated that he had to slim down in another project that came before the Dante Lam movie, and now has to bulk up again.

The actor also revealed that he already has a diving license, but that it has been a while since he went for a dive.

"Furthermore, there are a lot of different conditions underwater. I have to do a lot of prep work. Safety is important," he added.

However, Eddie, who is already used to Dante's challenging requirements - having filmed movies like "Unbeatable", "To the Fore", and "Operation Mekong" with the filmmaker before - said that he is prepared physically and mentally for the project.

"Emergency Rescue" will begin filming in November.
