Eddie Peng: I was never offered "Bleeding Steel"

25 Aug - Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng has denied reports saying that he was rejected by Jackie Chan from working with him in his upcoming movie, "Bleeding Steel".

According to People, previously, it was reported that the actor supposedly had rubbed Jackie the wrong way with his alleged superstar attitude – including a lot of demands, and numerous filming delays.

Eddie reportedly was ousted from the project and was replaced with Show Luo instead.

The actor, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming new movie "Operation Mekong", clarified the issue online recently, saying, "I have always been a fan of Jackie Chan. I've also had dinner with him."

"But I was never offered to play a role in "Bleeding Steel". Such reports are very unfair to Mr Jackie Chan and Mr Show Luo," he added.
