Eddie Peng denies dating older actress Xu Qing
21 Aug – Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng has recently dismissed rumours that he is now dating actress Xu Qing, his co-star in the movie, "Hidden Man".
As reported on Sina, rumours of romance between the two sparked recently, when netizens pointed out several "evidence" that the two of them have been hinting on their romance on social media.
It was then rumoured that Eddie and Xu became close and started dating after working together on the movie.
However, fans who heard the rumours expressed unwillingness to give them their blessings, saying that he should be dating someone younger, as the actress is 13 years older than he is.
When asked to address the rumours recently, Eddie's rep stated that there is no truth to it at all, and urged the fans and media to stop sharing fake news.
As for Xu, the actress' rep called the rumours untrue and groundless.
