Eddie Garcia under critical observation after filming mishap
10 Jun – Veteran actor Eddie Garcia is currently under critical observation after collapsing on the set of his upcoming drama, "Rosang Agimat".
As reported on PEP, in a statement released by a certain Dr. Enrique Lagman, said to be the uncle of Garcia's longtime partner Lillibeth Romero, the actor did not suffer from a severe heart attack as mentioned earlier.
"The doctors ruled out heart attack and stroke as proven by several validating tests done in Mary Johnston hospital. He is in critical condition due to severe cervical fracture," he said.
Garcia will be put under observation for 48 hours to see if his condition improves.
On the other hand, it is reported that a video showing moment the actor collapsed on set has been circulating online.
GMA-7 stated that they will be reviewing the said video, and other similar clips, before making any conclusions on what actually transpired.
