Eddie Cheung stunned by co-star's passing

29 Apr - Eddie Cheung couldn't help but tear up for the loss of TVB actor Raymond Tsang, especially since they had recently worked together in the new drama, "The No No Girl".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the promotional event of the new drama, shared that it was only last week ago that they had chat with each other via WhatsApp.

"He told me that he felt that seeing me and the daughter made him feel warm and envious at the same time," he said.

Eddie also shared that both he and Raymond were involved in the Disciplined Service (also known as auxiliary force) together.

"Everybody called him "the tiger". To suddenly get such a news, it's really hard for us to accept it," he added.

Recently, netizens have begun sharing clips of moments before Raymond's death at an event in Guangzhou, which showed the actor moving strangely while the music is playing, stiffening, and falling on the ground a few seconds later.

When asked whether he had seen the clip, Eddie said that he didn't see it, doesn't want to, and expressed hope that nobody would spread the clip around as to show respect towards the deceased.
