EastEnders is set to revisit Freddie Slater's (Bobby Brazier) teacher storyline in new upcoming scenes.

Last month saw the character face some upsetting memories from his past, where he was treated unfairly by his former school teacher, Mr Hawthorne (William Ellis).

When he accidentally booked two dates for the evening, Freddie dug himself into a hole when he got the two dates muddled up, though a comment from Jean questioning his intelligence triggered memories of being humiliated by Mr Hawthorne.

After Jean expressed guilt, she suggested he confront his former teacher, and after being encouraged by Bobby to get closure, Freddie headed off to the school and stood up to Mr Hawthorne – though he may have got more than he bargained for.

In new scenes set to air next week, Freddie tries to put together a team for The Vic pub quiz and rivalry emerges between him and Reiss as their teams fight it out.

Mr Hawthorne then arrives with an ADHD referral card for Freddie, though the latter refuses to listen or accept help. However, after an honest chat with Bobby about his concerns, Freddie agrees to see the ADHD specialist.

Upon seeing the specialist it becomes apparent that Freddie has a lot of the tell-tale symptoms of ADHD.

Elsewhere on EastEnders, the soap is set to see Stacey have her secret exposed in new scenes airing next week, after the character recently joined an Only Fans-type site to make some extra cash.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
