Eason Chan is not planning to have a concert anytime soon

21 Oct – Eason Chan has recently denied rumours that he and Miriam Yeung are competing for the same opening at the Hong Kong Coliseum for their respective shows.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who had to cancel his "Fear and Dreams" concert earlier this year due to the pandemic, stated that there is no plan for him to hold a New Year's Eve concert, nor is he applying for the said venue for any future events.

"It's unknown whether we can open a show this year, and I hear that the schedule for the Coliseum is almost full for 2021, and they are giving priority to singers who had to cancel their 2019 shows," he said.

When mentioned that his own concert was cancelled back in 2019, Eason laughed and said that he wasn't the only performer who had to cancel a concert and that he is not too anxious about returning on stage.

"This issue occurs all over the world... This year I only filmed fast food ads and recorded songs. It was lucky to make some money for a rainy day," he said.
