Dylan Kuo to replace Gao Yunxiang in new drama?
23 Apr - Taiwanese actor Dylan Kuo has recently addressed rumours that he is replacing Gao Yunxiang as the lead in the Chinese historical series, "The Legend of Ba Qing".
As reported on XN News, the drama which was originally slated for broadcast on 19 April, has been dragged into a scheduling limbo following Gao's recent arrest for allegations of sexual assault in Sydney, Australia.
With the drama's fate unknown, it was rumoured that the producers are making adjustments to the cast members, and that Dylan - who actually has a different role in the drama - will be replacing Gao as the lead instead.
At the same time, it was rumoured that Dylan's character will be taken by a different actor.
However, when asked about it, Dylan's rep stated that they have not received any notice from the producers about any changes, even though they have heard a similar rumour.
"We will be happy if it turns out to be true, but the rumours might be false," the rep added.
