Dwyane Wade has designed a collection of Pride sneakers for his transgender daughter Zaya.
The basketball star revealed in February that the 13-year-old was transitioning, and, along with wife Gabrielle Union, has proudly supported her journey.
And on Wednesday, Dwyane shared a photo of his daughter wearing a pair of rainbow-coloured sneakers he'd created as part of his Li-Ning collection.
“Proud pops moment for me creating these shoes for @zayawade #Wow8 #pride,” the 38-year-old captioned a picture on Instagram of his the teenager wearing a pair of the sneakers and a black T-shirt emblazoned with the Pride logo.
Dwyane went on to share more photos on his Instagram Stories, including snapshots of Zaya with her one-year-old sister Kaavia James, and another snapshot of the basketball star with the teenager, which he sweetly captioned: "Pride for Zaya."
The Way of Wade 8 'Pride' sneakers aren’t currently available for purchase, however Dwyane's 18-year-old son Zaire Wade revealed he's also got his hands on a pair.
Zaya made her red carpet debut after transitioning back in March, alongside dad Dwyane and stepmother Gabrielle, and rocked co-ordinating suits by Richfresh.
“Everyone allow her to re-introduce herself her name is Zaya Wade,” the sportsman wrote on Instagram at the time. “Last night was Zaya’s first red carpet and we couldn’t have been prouder of how she handled the questions that were asked of her. She has emerged as one of the young faces and voices for the LGBTQ+ community.”
