From Harper's BAZAAR

While the rest of us have been wearing the same messy bun since March, the Duchess of Sussex has been on something of a hair experimentation journey recently.

We were used to her tumbling dark waves when we saw her out doing her royal duties, but since moving to California she's switched things up a bit.

First there was the ultimate non-royal side ponytail, which is the kind of look we're used to seeing on Jennifer Lopez, not Meghan.

Then, this week she tried a new slicked-back style, which obviously had us immediately reaching for our kirby grips.

While Meghan and Harry may have taken a step back from the public eye, Meghan is still incredibly focused on her mission to support causes close to her heart. Which is why she made a surprise appearance on America's Got Talent to send a touching video message to contestant Archie Williams.

Previously Archie spent 37 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Despite fighting for his innocence for decades, Archie was only freed in March 2019.

Now a contestant on AGT, Meghan sent a sweet video message to cheer him on during the finale, telling him "she had been so moved by his story".

While watching Meghan, we couldn't help but notice her new lighter hair colour, which is providing a welcome dose of autumn style inspiration.

Wearing her hair tied back, with face-framing tendrils, Meghan's new caramel hair colour is a switch up from her usual dark, brunette locks.

Meghan isn't the only royal to switch up her hair colour recently, as the Duchess of Cambridge has also been experimenting with honey highlights.
