The 38-year-old royal wore a navy jacket from the label for an engagement today at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Stanford Hall in Stanford on Soar, Loughborough.

Duchess Kate wore it buttoned up to her neck together with a matching A-line navy midi skirt.

The royal has long been a fan of the Alexander McQueen fashion label, wearing a bridal gown designed by Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, for her wedding on 29 April 2011.

She has worn the label many times since, re-wearing a McQueen dress for this year’s BAFTAs.

She accessorised with a pair of Ralph Lauren black boots with a stiletto heels and pointed toe, and carried a pair of globes and a black, top-handle bag by McQueen in one hand.

She wore a pair of diamond drop earrings.

Her hair was worn secured neatly in a half-up, half-down style, and make-up wise she opted for dark eyeliner and a nude lip.
