Dua Lipa Earns Her Stripes in a Little Black Dress & Tiger Tights With the Chunkiest Sneakers

Dua Lipa gave her little black dress an athleisure-chic touch this week as she helped debut Puma’s newest sneaker.

The brand ambassador took to Instagram this morning to show off her new Puma Mayze kicks in bold fashion. Her ensemble featured a 1980s-style workout jacket layered over a classic little black dress with a fitness-inspired finish, available for $45 at Puma.com.
The finishing touch of the outfit came in the form of platform sneakers from the German brand. Titled the Mayze silhouette, the two-tone design highlights all white uppers with black accents along the sides and midsole. The new design dropped today with a retail price of $90 at Puma.com as well as at the brand’s New York flagship store.
Dua Lipa signed on as a Puma ambassador in November 2020 with a multi-year deal as she serves as the face of its women’s business. Through her new title, the musician will aim to “help inspire women around the world” through worldwide efforts and “important inclusive initiatives close to her heart,” according to the company.
Last week, Dua Lipa gave her edgy style a sporty twist as she first unveiled the new campaign for Puma.
The “Levitating” singer posed for the athletic powerhouse on Instagram yesterday, modeling a two-tone jacket layered over a cherry beaded triangle top, spandex shorts and fishnet tights; similar jackets retail for $65 on Puma’s website.
It’s no surprise that the brand tapped Dua Lipa to debut the new sneaker silhouette, either. Beyond an award-winning music career, Dua Lipa herself dips her toes in the fashion world quite often. From sitting from rows at major shows during Fashion Month to selecting daring duds for red carpet appearances, she keeps things regularly exciting. The “Don’t Start Now” singer previously appeared in campaigns for YSL Beauté and Fragrance, Adidas and Pepe Jeans amongst others.
Her ensembles and style are credited to celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco; Dua Lipa is Posocco’s main clientele but he has also worked with Troye Sivan and Alex Demie in the past.
