Drew Arellano won't accompany wife in the delivery room

16 Jul - Unlike in the past, Drew Arellano will not be accompanying actress wife Iya Villania in the delivery room to welcome their third child.

As reported on GMA News, the Kapuso TV personality who will be hosting a new show, "Family Time", stated that the delivery procedures in hospitals have been changed since early this year to ensure safety during the pandemic, and that includes prohibiting one's spouse from being in the delivery room with the mother.

"It's going to be different, because I can't just wait inside the car for her. But I can't be inside the delivery room either. So I have to stay in our room," he said.

Arellano stated that he will be documenting everything that happens because there are a lot of mothers out there who will be giving birth in the coming weeks and months as well those who would love to know what to expect when the time comes.

Arellano and Villania are already parents to two sons, Antonio and Alonzo. The couple announced that they are expecting baby number three back in January.
