It seems that every time I turn on the radio, I hear Drake’s “One Dance” or “Controlla” or “Too Good,” all off of his April album VIEWS. In September last year, he and the rapper Future released a joint mixtape, What A Time To Be Alive, which included hits like “Big Rings” and “Jumpman.” Even earlier in 2015, a different set of Drake tunes (“Know Yourself” and “Energy” in particular) ruled the radio, off of his mixtape If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late.

Now, one of the busiest men in music is back at it: At a recent show, Drake revealed that he’s working on yet another mixtape, presumably to drop sometime this year.

Currently on tour with Future, Drake addressed the crowd at his Kansas City tour stop to offer up his thoughts on recent events involving racial profiling and gun violence. Amidst his more somber comments, he also said this: “When I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that shit, I wanna see everybody in this motherfucker boy!”

Now, music fans are speculating as to what this new mixtape is, and when it’ll drop. For those of you who follow rap, you’ll know that the long-reclusive rapper Gucci Mane is back at work and hanging out with Drake; could he partner up with him for yet another joint tape? (After all, they just did a song together.) Whatever the case, fans of the Toronto rapper (ourselves included) can’t wait:
