The hip-hop stars also collaborated for "Life Is Good," which arrived earlier this January alongside an accompanying visual.
Future first teased "Desires" back in August, sharing a snippet of the mid-tempo cut that was then titled "I Know" in his Instagram Live.
Details about the collaboration have been scarce until this Friday, January 31, when Drake shared the full track on his Soundcloud account under the title "DESIRES LEAK 2020 SUPER FUTURE DRAKE."
"I should have put you somewhere where no one could find you/ Mansion out in the sticks with nothin' around you/ Katy, Texas, Dallas, Texas, you know, a different environment/ 'Cause you got desires," Drake raps in the chorus of the song, which was produced by D. Hill.
It is still unclear whether "Desires" and "Life Is Good" could appear in the rumored follow-up to the pair's 2015 "What a Time to Be Alive" mixtape.
Future recently addressed rumors about the much-anticipated sequel, telling Cleveland's Real 106.1 radio that the Canadian rapper was solely a feature on "Life Is Good" without mentioning "Desires."
Since the release of "What a Time to Be Alive," Drake and Future have teamed up on several occasions, including for 2018's "Blue Tint."
In addition to collaborating with the Atlanta rapper, Drake is currently working on his highly-anticipated sixth studio album.
"I'll go, like, three weeks in between making songs, because I'm just kind of enjoying life. I'm enjoying living, going out with people, investing in personal connections. And it's making my music better," he recently told Rap Radar.
The OVO rapper still has to announce when the yet-untitled follow-up to 2018's "Scorpion" will arrive.
