Donita Rose admits separation from husband
15 Jul - Actress Donita Rose and husband Eric Villarama have called it quits.
As reported on PEP News, the actress confirmed the news recently, though denied that it has anything to do with their long-distance relationship.
Rose, who last year admitted that she nearly signed the divorce paper following their marriage trouble, stated that she was disappointed upon learning about Villarama's photos with another woman.
"Actually, I only found out when I guested the last time ["Good Times With Mo"], a couple of days ago. I will say that I was shocked. Because there were comments that were made after, 'What's going on?'," she said.
Rose, however, admitted their relationship has been on and off for the past couple of years.
"So, now I guess it made it official when the other day I found out that he came out with a [photo with another woman]. I think his profile pic is with [some girl], we did talk about it the other day and he apologised to me," she added.
Villarama had since deleted the photo.
Rose also declined to talk about the possibility of a third party, and stated that her main concern right now is her son JP.
Rose met Eric Villarama back in 2001, and married him two years later. Their son Joshua Paul Villarama was born in 2004.
