Donita Nose tested positive for COVID-19
30 Jul – Comedian Donita Nose has been tested positive for COVID-19.
As reported on Manila Bulletin, the comedian shared the news recently, saying that she was not surprised at all by the result of her swab test, since she was experiencing fever and headaches for a week, followed by diarrhoea and coughing that made it difficult for her to breathe.
The "Wowowin" co-host had since been confined to an isolation ward in the hospital.
"I am fighting in here alone now, no one is with me," she said.
Prior to the comedian's diagnosis, it was reported that fellow funnyman Michael V (Bitoy) was also positive for the coronavirus.
The two are the latest celebrities to contract COVID-19 following Christopher de Leon, Iza Calzado, and Sylvia Sanchez - all three who had since recovered.
