Director praises Sarah Geronimo's acting growth

Theodore Boborol says that having a love life helps Sarah understands her character in "Finally Found Someone"

24 Jul - Director Theodore Boborol is in awe with how much Sarah Geronimo has grown as a person and an actress, which enabled her to portray her role in her new movie better.

As reported on Inquirer, Boborol, who is also the director of Geronimo's new movie, "Finally Found Someone", expressed his belief that the pop princess' love life helped her understand her character deeper.

"Since she and John Lloyd made their last film four years ago, Sarah had already been through enough life experiences that made it easy for her to shoot the scenes in this movie that required her to confront her emotion," he said.

Boborol added that Geronimo has proven - through the new movie - that her acting has more depth.

In "Finally Found Someone", Geronimo plays April, a woman with an idealistic view of romance, and her encounter with professional liar, Raffy (played by John Lloyd Cruz).

On the other hand, Geronimo attributed her realistic performance to her ability to immerse herself as April.
