Dingdong Dantes wants normal childhood for daughter Zia

19 Mar – Although his daughter Zia recently made it into the list of "Most Beautiful Kids of Asian Celebrities" on a Vietnamese entertainment website, Dingdong Dantes stressed that it is not the most important thing for his daughter at her age.

As reported on Inquirer, the actor, who spoke about his three-year-old recently, admitted that he does feel proud about being in the list, adding jokingly, "It's a good thing she takes after her mother. Otherwise, that wouldn't have happened."

"But what's important is for her to stay kind, especially now that she's going to be a big sister. She also helps us in preparing her baby brother's room," he added.

Dantes stated that he hopes to instill good morals in Zia - to listen, learn, and also to know more about her religion. He added that his daughter has recently expressed interest in praying a Novena.

As to whether the little girl will grow up following his and wife Marian Rivera's footsteps, the actor said, "I don't know for sure. But the least my wife and I can do is give her a normal childhood."
