Dingdong Dantes, Rocco Nacino help out at evacuation centres
24 Jan – Dingdong Dantes and Rocco Nacino are the latest celebrities to lend their assistance to the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption.
As reported on GMA, the two actors who appeared in military uniform, joined the relief operations in Batangas together with the Philippine Marines, Navy, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development to distribute relief goods.
Among necessities that were packed include food, water, toiletries, clothes, and blankets.
Dantes also thanked his fans and supporters for their donations, writing, "Because of your generosity and with the help of the Philippine Navy and Philippine Marines- led by BGen Ariel Caculitan PNRC- we were able to donate 1000 relief packs to evacuation centers in Balayan, Batangas namely, Pastoral Center, Canda, Tanggoy and Patugo."
The two stars are a part of the upcoming GMA-7 series, "Descendants of the Sun" - which is a remake of the hit Korean series of the same name.
