Dingdong Dantes has no plans to transfer network

22 Jan – Although his contract with GMA Network will end soon, Dingdong Dantes has no plans to transfer to a different network anytime soon.

As reported on PEP, the actor, who has been a Kapuso for the longest time, stated that he has yet to sit down with the management about his contract, but that his loyalty remains with the company.

Asked if other networks have offered him a management contract, Dantes responded that he has left such matter to his talent manager, Perry Lansingan.

"It never crossed my mind [to transfer to another network]. This is my home. This is where I grew up. I feel the love here," he said.

It also seemed pointless for Dantes to move away from GMA as the network already gave him the creative freedom to work with other studios, as he did with films like "Seven Sundays" and "Fantastica".

"I am grateful for that. If they didn't give me space to explore, especially when it comes to films, it would not have been possible. I really owe it to them," he said.
