Dingdong Dantes helps the jobless seek opportunities

8 Apr - Dingdong Dantes is using his star power to help people who have lost their jobs to seek work-from-home opportunities through his advocacy, YesPinoy Foundation.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the Kapuso star shared this effort on Twitter last week, writing, "Do you want a job while being quarantined at home? There are online jobs for freelancers, job seekers, and K-12/HS grads."

"There are also home-based jobs with 'no experience needed' and interviews. Just on the phone!" he added.

YesPinoy revealed in its ad that they are supporting the #SanaOL campaign to help fellow countrymen who lost their livelihood because of the COVID-19 crisis.

The said project is a collaboration between YesPinoy with JobStreet and Work Abroad PH, as well as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

It is noted that thousands have lost or on the risk of losing their jobs with the shutdown of business establishments since the Philippine government imposed the Luzon-wide lockdown. These include street vendors, who have not been able to set up shop due to the situation.
