Diego Loyzaga: I still love my father
21 Feb - Despite his previous rants against his father, Cesar Montano, Diego Loyzaga stressed that he loves the actor all the same.
As reported on Rappler, the actor, who spoke publicly about his previous online rant against his father for the first time recently, stressed that he is clean from drugs, and that his drug tests have proven it.
"I clarified everything for the sake of me backing up what I said in my statement, when I was asked about it before. It wasn't for anybody else, so there's nothing that can be said," the actor expressed.
When asked if he is angry with Montano, Loyzaga responded, "No, I really love my dad."
On the other hand, Loyzaga said he is thankful for the love and support he received from his mother Teresa, as well as former stepmother, Sunshine Cruz.
"[Sunshine] and I have been through a lot since the years we've known each other. I'm happy she came out with her statement and the kind words she said," said Loyzaga.
He stated that there is a silver lining to the issue - that he has a lot of support from his family and fans.
As for now, the actor would love to move on from the subject, and expressed his hopes that everything will be good.
