Dickson Yu has yet to work on a new drama
5 Apr – Although it has been eight months since he had a brush with death, Dickson Yu stated that he has yet to film a new television drama for fear of overexerting himself.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the promotional event of "The Ghetto-Fabulous Lady" recently, shared that he is currently focused on shooting variety shows instead, as it doesn't take too much of his time.
"A variety show would be taping four to five days a week at most. If I were to do a television drama, I am worried that I don't have the physical strength to cope with it," he said.
Back in August last year, Dickson shocked many when he slipped into a coma after passing out following a game of football. The actor was revealed to have suffered from a heart condition that he never knew he had.
On the other hand, when asked about good friend Arnold Kwok's recent arrest for DUI, Dickson said that he hasn't talked to the actor yet, though has plans to meet him later.
"Drinking and driving is wrong and could lead to serious consequences," he said, adding that he has abstained from alcohol since his previous incident.
