Derek Ramsay confirms split from Joanne Villablanca
11 Jun – After six years of romance, Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay recently revealed that he and girlfriend Joanne Villablanca have called it quits on their relationship.
As reported on PEP, the actor, who confirmed the news recently, kept mum about the reason for their breakup, simply saying, "It's all for the best. So for now, we're giving each other space and, in time, I'm sure Jo and I will be able to be real friends once again."
Ramsay also expressed sadness over the split, since he was also close to the model's daughter.
"I treated her like she was one of my own. But for us to grow, I think it's best for us to go our separate ways," he added.
The actor also believes that there will come a day that he will love again.
"It will just take time. I'm praying to find a right girl for me. I am saying that without insulting Joanne. She's a beautiful brilliant woman. I guess our lives are not meant to be together," he said.
