This Democratic Congresswoman Definitely Copied Melania Trump's RNC Dress
When Ohio Representative Joyce Beatty took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, most people seemed to be more focused on her surprising choice of outfit than what she had to say.
As many people quickly pointed out, the white fitted dress with puff sleeves that Beatty wore looked remarkably similar - if not identical - to the dress Melania Trump wore at the Republican National Convention last week. While there were some subtle differences between the two, they were close enough in appearance that the decision couldn't have been accident, which makes the move either super gutsy or super baller.
Of course, a lot of people couldn't help but make a few plagiarizing jokes at Beatty's expense after she took the stage wearing the dress. But if there's something positive to take away from the whole thing, it's that at least both Democrats and Republicans can agree on one thing: fashion.
