Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich Reportedly Ended Their Engagement

From Cosmopolitan

  • Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have reportedly ended their engagement.

  • People says the couple made the tough decision to split in order to "focus on their respective careers."

Sad news from Demi Lovato's camp today: She and her fiancé Max Ehrich have reportedly ended their two-month engagement. Both People and E! News claim the two called it off and broke up amid rumors of tension.

"It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers," said People's source. "They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together."

Word of the split comes after reports that Demi's friends were allegedly suspicious of Max and his intentions. Lovatics also speculated something was up after Demi's sister Dallas Lovato and her good friend Matthew Scott Montgomery both unfollowed Max on Insta.

Before this month, there hadn't been any public reports of trouble between Demi and Max, but last week Demi called out alleged tweets from Max that professed his love for her former friend Selena Gomez and said they were fake.

"It's really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. If women have conflict that's between them NOT YOU," she wrote, later adding, "Yes, it's easier to tear apart celebrities and their relationships because 2020 sucks and scares the shit out of us all but it's only gonna stay terrifying until we address it all and WORK ON SOLUTIONS TOGETHER."

Neither Demi nor Max have commented on the breakup publicly, but they've both been posting on Insta Stories. Among other Stories, Max posted a religious quote and Demi posted a video of herself getting ready while wearing a "DOGS OVER PEOPLE" shirt.
