7 Dec – Although her new movie is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival, Dawn Zulueta admitted that she doesn't really pay much attention to the competition part of the festival.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who appeared at the grand press conference of her new movie, "Meant to Beh" alongside Vic Sotto recently, shared that she sees the festival as just a venue to showcase their works as a Christmas gift to the audiences.
"I am not affected by the competition at all. To me, it's a festival. It's exciting to see other movies as well," she said, listing Coco Martin's "Ang Probinsyano" and Vice Ganda's "Gandarrapido: The Revengers" as some of the movies she is interested to watch.
On the other hand, when asked how it felt like working with Sotto, Zulueta stated that she enjoyed it very much, since it has been a while since they collaborated.
"Our last movie together was "Okay Ka Fairy Ko". It was a long time ago," she said.
Other movies that will be part of the MMFF 2017 include Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay's "Almost is Not Enough", Joross Gamboa's "Deadma Walking", and the Paul Soriano directed film, "Siargao".
