Dave and Jenny Marrs Reveal Upcoming Renovations on 'Fixer to Fabulous' Season 5
Fixer to Fabulous season five is almost here! Ahead of the November 7 premiere, we're getting excited for the HGTV show's return thanks to an exclusive teaser. The sneak peek promises the next installment of the home renovation series will be one of the best yet—featuring everything from stars Jenny and Dave Marrs's personal home renovation to unexpected reno woes.
Fans of the Marrs family know the husband-and-wife duo have been tackling their own massive home renovation at their farm (with help from their kids!) and documenting the construction on social media. In the teaser, Jenny addresses the personal project. "It's the changing of a season," she says, teary-eyed. "It's the marking of a chapter. I'm very emotional."
Along with insights into their farmhouse makeover, season five will feature plenty of other thrilling moments. The design duo will take on a family horse ranch and a treehouse-style home. As with most renovations, they'll face unexpected challenges like a crumbling home structure and even a plumbing issue. "We're flooding the house," Dave says in the teaser.
Jenny responds, "Are you kidding me right now?"
Of course, there will be some high-spirited action as well. Dave, along with some helpers, can be seen knocking over an outdated glass shower wall in the teaser. A few times, Jenny playfully slaps Dave and tells him at one point that he's in trouble.
We can only imagine what else will take place in the upcoming season's 16 episodes. Mark your calendar for this Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, because the premiere will follow the Marrses as they give a family friend's first home an English-cottage-inspired makeover inspired by her study abroad trip.
