Meanwhile, a TIE fighter pilot helmet from the first ‘Star Wars’ movie ‘A New Hope’ made £210,000, setting a new record price for a helmet from the movie series, following the auction of a Stormtrooper helmet from ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ last year, which made £78,000.
The auction was run by online memorabilia site Prop Store, and also featured the sale of a Hogwarts acceptance letter with a wax seal from ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, and a ‘Jurassic Park’ script featuring annotations made by the late Sir Richard Attenborough.
