Daredevil teaser offers The Defenders clue

Here’s the latest teaser for The Defenders, courtesy of a headline in the New York Bulletin, the fictional tabloid newspaper in Daredevil. Don’t just look at “Punisher Punished: Ruthless Vigilante Captured” – pay close attention to the story on the lower-left side of the page.

Just check out that headline: “New Theories Shed Light on Lost City”. Could this be a reference to the (of course) mystical city of K’un L’un, which appears on Earth once a decade? In the comics, it’s the place where Daniel Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist gains his skills in the martial arts.

K’un L’un is also one of the Capital Cities of Heaven, alongside the likes of K’un-Zi, ruled over by the Crane Mother, and Under City, ruled by Dog Brother. Will we be seeing it in Iron Fist? And could this mean a connection to The Hand, the mystical organisation that plays a huge role in Daredevil?

So many questions!
