Daniel Radcliffe is 'intensely embarrassed' by his early 'Harry Potter' acting
Daniel Radcliffe remains 'intensely embarrassed' by some of his acting in the early Harry Potter movies, he's admitted.
Radcliffe, who played JK Rowling's boy wizard from 2001 through to the final chapter in 2011, made the comments in an interview in Empire magazine conducted by fellow former child star Elijah Wood.

“I'm intensely embarrassed by some of my acting, obviously,” Radcliffe says. “But yeah, it's like asking, 'How do you feel about your teenage years?' There's so much in there that it's almost impossible to single out one feeling.
“It's hard to separate my relationship with Harry from my relationship with the films as a whole.
“I'm incredibly grateful for the experience. It showed me what I want to do with the rest of my life. To find out early on what you love is really lucky.”
Radcliffe was cast in 2000 at the age of 11, having made his screen debut the previous year in the BBC Dickens adaptation David Copperfield alongside Maggie Smith, who went on to appear in the Potter movies as Hogwarts deputy headmistress Minerva McGonagall.

He was said to have received a seven-figure pay cheque for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and went on to make Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in 2002, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009.
Final chapters Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 concluded the series in 2010 and 2011.
It's thought he made over £70 million for the series in all.
