Daniel Craig To Join Channing Tatum In Heist Movie From Steven Soderbergh

Whether or not he’ll be Bond again, we still don’t know - but, like any jobbing actor, Daniel Craig is still keeping himself busy.

Deadline reports that the four-time 007 is in talks to join Channing Tatum in ‘Logan Lucky,’ a heist movie to be directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Soderbergh (who’s clearly had a change of heart since announcing his semi-retirement from directing a few years back) has plenty of experience with big screen heists thanks to the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ trilogy.

Like the Ocean movies, ‘Logan Lucky’ is set to have a cast boasting more than a few big names. As well as Tatum (who previously starred in Soderbergh’s ‘Magic Mike’ and ‘Haywire’), ‘Logan Lucky’ will star Adam Driver (’Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Seth McFarlane (the ‘Ted’ movies).

Riley Keough (’Mad Max: Fury Road’) has also been cast, and Katherine Heigl (’Knocked Up’) is in talks to star.

‘Logan Lucky’ will reportedly centre on “brothers who plan a crime during a NASCAR race.” The hugely popular US motor racing organisation are also said to be supporting the film.

Due to start production this autumn, no release dates for ‘Logan Lucky’ have yet been announced.
