No Time To Die’s actor Daniel Craig will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is the fourth actor playing James Bond to receive this honour. The other three are Moore, David Njven and Pierce.

The unveiling ceremony will take place days before the release of No Time To Die. Craig will have his star unveiled on Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday, Oct. 6. As reported by People‘s magazine, the British actor will have his star next to former Bond actor Roger Moore.

“Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as is James Bond, the man he has portrayed in five 007 films, says Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “We are thrilled to place his terrazzo Walk of Fame star next to the star of another famed actor who also portrayed James Bond, Roger Moore.”

The movie producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, as well as co-star Rami Malek, will give speeches in honour of Craig. Fans will be able to watch the ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame website. In an interview with The New York Times, the actor pondered lately on his Bond audition.

Craig explains, “I was just amongst the mix — someone to dismiss,” before adding that he thought he’d be cast as a villain, saying, “Here you go, have a baddie.” He said, fans may remember him “as the Grumpy Bond,” but adding, “That’s just my Bond and I have to face up to it, that has been my Bond. But I’m quite satisfied with that.”

Daniel Craig played the role of Bond in 5 films, namely Casino Royale (2006) and including Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015). His last film for the franchise, No Time To Die is all set to premiere on October 8.
