Daniel Craig has posed shirtless in his last ever James Bond interview for GQ Magazine.

The actor, 52, opened up about how he feels as he gets older as well as wanting another baby.

He described himself as feeling “physically very low” around the time of the No Time To Die filming, which is why it took five years for a new Bond film to be released.

“I was never going to do one again. I was like, ‘Is this work really genuinely worth this, to go through this, this whole thing?’ And I didn't feel... I felt physically really low.

“So the prospect of doing another movie was just, like, off the cards. And that's why it has been five years.”

Craig’s last foray into the world of James Bond was in Spectre, which was released in 2015.

If you’re going to be James Bond, you’re going to be heralded as somewhat of a fashion icon, a typecast Craig has worn well over the years.

His niche? The subtle tailoring from the likes of Brunello Cucinelli paired with laid-back luxe from N Peal and John Smedley.

The actor has an everyman quality to his fashion sense which is present in the shoot.

It exudes luxury without scraping on wearability. His covershoot shows him in a t-shirt and trousers - which hardly seems like high fashion, but whether it’s the beige hues or the masculine tailoring of the cut, it works.

Throughout his interview, he was candid about the anxieties he had around the script, which he didn’t get ahead of preparing physically for the role.

“I have suffered from it in the past. I have suffered because it's been like, ‘I can't cope. I can't deal with this’.”

He was left with regret about not speaking up in relation to the other four Bond scripts he has worked on in the past.

“I've kept my mouth shut before and I've stayed out of it and I've respected it and I've regretted that I did.”

But now, Craig has life after Bond in his sights, which involves more “being older”, the actor admitted.

He also said he’d like to have “another kid” with actress wife, Rachel Weisz.

“But all of these things, I was just like, you know, f*** it. There are other things that are more important.”

Outside of his personal life, Craig intends to continue acting, although he doesn’t have any concrete plans in place at the moment,

“I'm pretty sure I can play just about anything. Yeah. I'm pretty sure I can, or at least I can make a f***ing good fist of it.”

No Time To Die has been pushed back amid the coronavirus outbreaks.

The film shows Bond retired from active duty in Jamaica, until the CIA call him up to see if he can help with a case.

A scientist has been kidnapped and the mission to rescue them becomes a little more intricate than first thought.

The new release date for the film in UK cinemas is 12 November.
