Dakota Johnson: 'Nobody noticed my Met Gala dress was see-through'

Dakota Johnson finds it funny that nobody noticed her Gucci dress at the 2019 Met Gala was completely see-through.

The 30-year-old actress wore the stunning floor-length, iridescent pink gown, which featured a beaded red bleeding heart in the centre, by Alessandro Michele, to the star-studded fashion event in May last year.

In an interview with U.S. InStyle magazine, Dakota confessed that not one person seemed to notice that her custom dress exposed her body.

"That dress was see-through, but nobody really noticed, which is hilarious," she laughed, before noting that creative director Alessandro welcomed her input when designing the gown.

"The Gucci team is amazing because they let me have a say when I think something could be better without sleeves, or you know, be a little shorter or longer," she shared.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Fifty Shades of Grey star confessed she's currently obsessed with two items - jumpsuits and hair scrunchies.

"I just got this great Dries Van Noten one. But it’s a problem because now jumpsuits are all I want to wear," she quipped, adding that she has "tons" of scrunchies dotted around her house.

And while she's a big fan of couture fashion, wearing the likes of Valentino, Dior and Alexander McQueen on the red carpet, she candidly revealed that she has "no desire" to wear an extravagant outfit.

"Fashion can be so crazy. Someone like Timothee Chalamet looks amazing in, like, a harness, but that’s wild to me. I’ve never had the desire to wear something like that," Dakota shared.
