Daisy Ridley reminds us all to embrace our freckles with this one photo

Scrolling through Daisy Ridley’s Instagram account is like journeying through a world of self-love. Without fail, the Star Wars actress has continued to open up about the importance of loving one’s body – and her latest Instagram photo is no exception.

Currently, Daisy is embracing her freckles with a stunning selfie:

In addition to this freckle-appreciation post, Daisy has also spoken up about many other significant, self-love-related topics. For instance, back in March, Ridley stood up for herself (and her character Rey) when commentors stated that she does not look like a “real woman.”

“Real women’ are all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities, all levels of brave, have families, don’t have families,” wrote Daisy. “I am a ‘real woman’ like every other woman in this world.”

Ridley has also discussed the fact that “no makeup” selfies aren’t always the most realistic images out there, which is exactly why we should focus on not comparing ourselves to others:

“Social media is great but also a bit scary cause what people post is the most filtered, most carefully chosen and cleverly edited moments of their lives. And self-esteem is a huge issue for people around the world.”

In one of our favorite posts to date, Daisy took the time to open up about her battle with endometriosis, which has caused her to deal with severe skin issues that taught her the importance of self-care:
