Dai Xiangyu denies wife is a third party
25 Jul - Chinese actor Dai Xiangyu has denied rumours saying that his newly-wedded wife, Chen Zihan, was a third party in his alleged first marriage.
As reported on Sina News, tabloids previously reported that Dai, who surprised many last May by announcing his marriage to Chen, was already married to Chinese actress Li Yixuan for ten years before it was destroyed by Dai's affair with Chen.
Clarifying the issue on his Weibo account recently, Dai stated, "There is no third or fourth party. We are just a simple couple who is married for the first time."
Chen later forwarded the message, and added, "I'm blessed with you around. A simple life, working hard. We're very good. Thank you everyone."
Meanwhile, Li has also responded to the matter, saying, "I do not want to get involved in this thing."
Dai and Chen met on the set of Chinese drama "Pearl Earrings" in 2014. The two of them dated for a year before deciding to tie the knot.
