Dada Chan excited for upcoming Chinese New Year film

18 Sep – Hong Kong actress Dada Chan is excited about her upcoming new film, which will be a Lunar New Year movie co-starring Chrissie Chau and Louis Cheung.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media about her upcoming film at a charity event recently, stated that she had been working out to shed the weight she gained for her previous film, "The Secret Diary of a Mom-to-Be" in preparation for the new project.

"It will be a family comedy, and I will have a lot of scenes with Chrissie and Louis. I will also have various different looks in the movie and I am sure everybody would be pleasantly surprised," she said without further sharing details about the movie.

Speaking about working with Chrissie in the movie, Dada said that it was her first time collaborating with the screen siren.

"I found her to be a calm person and a very hardworking actress. It's worth learning from her," she said.

Asked if the two of them swapped stories about their love lives, Dada laughed and said, "I wouldn't dare [asked her about Dickson Yu]. I would be afraid that she will turn it around on me."

As for her own love life, Dada said that she will left it to fate.

"I don't have time to think about it right now. If I am dating, I would not be publicising it until I am ready to get married," she said.
