Court grants Sunshine Cruz's petition for annulment
20 Sep – Four years after filing her petition of annulment, Sunshine Cruz is now officially single again.
As reported on PEP, the actress who responded to the media's question about the petition, which has been granted by the judge recently, shared that she was overwhelmed with tears upon being informed about it by her lawyer.
She also took to Instagram to express her happiness with the news, with a photo that read, "Lord, thank you for giving me a new day, for the blessings that you have prepared, you do wonderful things. Thank you for all your love."
She captioned it, "This day I will never forget. 9-18-08. Thank you!"
Cruz was married to actor Cesar Montano for 13 years before they were separated, allegedly due to the latter's infidelity. The former couple are parents to daughters Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Francheska.
Cruz is currently in a relationship with businessman Macky Matthay.
