A couple just fulfilled every Disney fanatic’s wildest dreams after they tied the knot in the very first Bollywood wedding at Disneyland Paris.

Varun Bhanot, 29, and Anisha Seth, 29, said “I do” in the history-making affair over a magical two-day bash held at the French capital’s fairytale kingdom.

Merging Bollywood and Disney, the newlyweds exchanged vows in a midnight ceremony outside of the world-famous castle and later threw a Hindu gathering by the theme park’s lake.

On the big day, 350 guests feasted on a banquet inspired by Aladdin with Indian and Middle Eastern gracing the tables.

If that wasn’t enough to make the event worthy of the small screen, the newlyweds shared their first dance with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy - who all danced to Bhangra at the one-of-a-kind bash.

In traditional fashion, the bride wore a grand total of four dresses which included a white wedding gown followed by a series of vibrant lehengas.

Celebrating the wedding well into the early hours of the morning, guests danced the night away in a Moulin Rouge-themed disco.

The bride, who is a self-confessed fan of ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Lion King’, said: “It was amazing but tiring, and I know our guests had a great time. I think it was definitely one of those things that you know has never been done.”

“People just enjoy the magic of the place,” she continued. “When we went on the rides, it was nice to see all the children enjoying the Disney magic.”

The London-based couple, who have been together for five years, spent almost a year planning the grand nuptials and even enjoyed Valentine’s Day there to get a feel for the place.

“Paris is the city of love - that all played into the idea,” Bhanot said. “We have been Disney fans for years, and we have organised big events together. We thought we would put our heads together and do something a bit different.”

The wedding is estimated to have cost tens of thousands of pounds but the couple managed to get Disneyland Paris to chip in.

Though they’re not the only newlyweds to have planned a headline-worthy wedding in recent months, as a couple recently posed for their big day photographs under the sea.

In the extravagant images, the happy couple can be seen swimming in full diving equipment before removing the sea-ready gear to strike several romantic poses.

But hey, what’s a wedding without some content worthy of the gram?
