It’s been four whole years since Solange Knowles released any new music. In that time, she’s totally become our Instagram obsession. The star posts amazing photos, and every time we see her we get total style envy. Seriously, Solange knows her way around a lewk.

Look. At. That. Slay.

In 2012, Solange released her True EP, a collection of forward thinking R&B produced in collaboration with Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes. Not only was the music amazing (literally, “Losing You” still gives us chills), but, again, Solange gave us #fashiongoals for days with the music videos.

While Solange has set up her own label and creative collective, Saint Heron, we’ve been craving new music from the star. That’s why, last week, we were so excited when it appeared that the singer was teasing songs via her Snapchat account.

Solange then updated her website with some amazing images, and it seemed that things were actually coming!

Every visit to the star’s site would produce a new beautiful image or video.

On the website, you could also sign up to “take a seat at the table” (what ever that means).

Well, it seems that we could be getting new music from Solange sooner than anticipated.

Users on Twitter appear to have been sent a book by #TeamSolange that includes lyrics, photography, poetry, and a date: 09/30/16.

Right in the middle of the book, which looks stunning btw, is the date of September 30th, which is on FRIDAY.

As PopCrush reports, the book contains 12 poems (which could be song lyrics) that are all numbered. The site also got an extra glimpse at some of the poetry included in the tome, and it’s stunning.

In June, Solange confirmed that she had wrapped up work on her fourth album.

Taking to Instagram, the singer professed that she had finished the album just 72 hours before turning thirty.

“27 Started writing most proud of body of work 27 World called me crazy 27 Married Best Friend 28 Completed 4th album (72 hours before turning 30),” she wrote on Instagram, listing all of her achievements and the hardships she has experienced in her life time.

So, it seems that on Friday we could be blessed with new music from Solange. If true, the album will be the first full record from the star since 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.

Solange isn’t known for conforming to genre boundaries, so we’re so excited to hear and see what she has been cooking up!
