I’ll be the first one to admit that I absolutely LOVE Jaden and Willow Smith. I don’t care if people don’t really understand them; I think they are absolute geniuses in one way or another. Like, now that I think of it, I wish I had a fraction of their coolness factor when I was a teen — heck, even now I wish I was as cool as they are.
Today just might be my lucky day, though. In an interview with Pharrell Williams for Interview magazine, Jaden thinks he and 15-year old sister Willow actually aren’t that cool anymore.
“Nobody knows that Willow and I were much, much cooler before. Like, before people were looking at the things that we were doing, we were so much more, like, method with fashion. We really went all the way. We went the extra mile on everything because there was no one was looking at us.
This actually makes me a little sad! I love how he and Willow are so bold with their fashion choices! I mean, did you see his Louis Vuitton campaign earlier this year? AMAZING!

Regardless of the fact that Jaden thinks he and Willow are no longer “that cool,” I have to respectively disagree. Seriously, my Pinterest fashion board is like 75% them.
